Flea has had a number of memorable film roles over the years, and he’s adding another credit to his resume.
Per Deadline, Flea has been cast in Babylon, which stars Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Very little is known about the plot of the film other than it’s based in 1920s Hollywood “…when the motion picture industry turned from silent film to talkies.”
Babylon is being helmed by Academy Award-winning director Damien Chazelle and is currently scheduled for limited release on Christmas Day 2022 with a wider release expected on January 6, 2023.
In addition to Flea, Pitt and Robbie, also cast in the film are Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, Katherine Waterston, Max Minghella, Samara Weaving, Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne and Damon Gupton.
Flea’s last film role came in 2019’s Queen & Slim.
