Florence + The Machine’s Dance Fever era is set to continue with the November 24th release of Dance Fever – The Singles 7-inch Boxset, available for pre-order now.
The limited-edition Dance Fever – The Singles 7-inch Boxset gathers all the singles, remixes, and standalone tracks from the era. The clamshell box contains seven 7” singles (each on different color vinyl) encased in their own beautifully crafted sleeve. Also includes inserts with credits and live photography from the Dance Fever tour.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, Florence Welch credited collaborators Thunderwing Studio for design, director/photographer Autumn de Wilde for imagery, and photographer Lillie Eiger for tour imagery. Autumn de Wilde’s imagery in particular has been a fixture in the world of Dance Fever, with the Emma director shooting single and album cover art as well as directing the videos for the album’s singles “Free,” “Heaven Is Here,” “My Love,” and “King.”
Dance Fever was first released back in May, hailed as “an album that brings ecstasy and euphoria inspired by missing clubs, dancing at festivals, and the feeling of togetherness that she missed during lockdown.” The album has since been followed up with the releases of Dance Fever (Complete Edition), which included a new single “Mermaids” along with spoken-word poetry versions of some tracks, and Under Heaven Over Hell, a 39-track compilation album spanning the group’s career.
