Foo Fighters capped off an eventful week (and Dave Grohl’s birthday) with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (January 14.)

The band performed two songs on the show from their upcoming studio album, Medicine At Midnight: “No Son Of Mine” and “Waiting On A War.” Both performances can be viewed below.

In other Foo news: The band is set for another high-profile performance next week.

Per The New York Times, Foo Fighters were just announced in a new batch of musicians taking part in Celebrating America, a live 90-minute special airing the evening of the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

In addition to Foo Fighters, other artists performing during the special include Bruce Springsteen, John Legend, Jon Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato and Ant Clemons.

Tom Hanks will be hosting Celebrating America, which will air January 20 at 8:30 PM EST/PST on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and MSNBC. The special will also stream online via the following platforms: The PIC’s YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Twitch accounts; Amazon Prime Video; Microsoft Bing; NewsNOW from Fox; and AT&T DirecTV and U-verse.
