Freaky (Friday) Styley: Jamie Lee Curtis was a big fan of the ‘The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ documentary

Jamie Lee Curtis is raving about the new documentary, *The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brother, Hillel*. She shared her excitement on Instagram, saying, “HOLY S*! THIS IS MIND BLOWING! I AM F MOTIVATED!”

The film, which premiered on Netflix, dives into the early days of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and highlights the artistic vision of original guitarist Hillel Slovak, who passed away in 1988. It features interviews with frontman Anthony Kiedis and bassist Flea.

In her post, Curtis expressed her admiration for the deep friendships shown in the film. She wrote about how music connects people and the impact one person can have on another. She also touched on the struggles of addiction and the miracle of recovery, celebrating the “PUNK FUNK ROCK OF BEING ALIVE!”

It’s important to note that the band clarified this is not an official Red Hot Chili Peppers documentary. They stated that they had no creative involvement in the film. Kiedis and Flea participated in interviews to honor Hillel and his legacy. The band hopes this documentary will spark interest in Hillel Slovak and his contributions to music.

If you’re a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers or just love music, this documentary is definitely worth a watch!
