GloRilla and Kehlani Celebrate ‘Xmas Time’

GloRilla and Kehlani have shared a festive collaboration titled “Xmas Time.” The track arrives with a live performance video directed by Maxx and Madison that finds the two artists in a winter wonderland. “I remember those days when the nights got cold,” GloRilla and Kehlani sing. “Leaning on each other made our hearts grow more/ Nothing compares to the love at Christmas time.”

Billboard recently named GloRilla the Hottest Female Rapper of 2024 and indeed, it has been an extremely productive year for the musician. In October, GloRilla released her debut studio album, Glorious. The record debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and became the highest debut week for a female rapper. Glorious features the smash hits “Whatchu Know About Me” featuring Sexyy Redd and “TGIF,” which Time named as the No. 1 song of 2024. The album also features collaborations with Latto, Kirk Franklin, T-Pain, and more. She recently earned her second Hot 100 top 10 entry as a guest on Tyler, The Creator’s “Sticky.”

In April, GloRilla released the mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang. That album opens with the double platinum single “Yeah Glo!” which has received Grammy nominations in the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance categories. Her collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “Wanna Be,” also appears on the mixtape. Glorilla and Megan hit the road last summer on the latter’s Hot Girl Summer tour.

Kehlani has also had a busy 2024. In June, the singer and songwriter released Crash, which scored a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B album. Kehlani also picked up nominations for Best R&B Song for “After Hours” and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Kehlani” by Jordan Adetunji. The musician recently wrapped up an eagerly anticipated North American tour. Crash follows the singer’s 2022 album Blue Water Road.
