Green Day Premiering New Song During ‘NHL Outdoors’

Green Day will be premiering a new song this weekend during NHL Outdoors, the National Hockey League’s event where teams face off in special outdoor regular-season games.

Per Billboardthe new track titled “Here Comes the Shock” will be featured during a highlight reel video set to air on February 20 during the NHL Outdoors game between the Colorado Avalanche and the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

The premiere of “Here Comes the Shock” is part of Green Day’s two-year partnership with the NHL which is set to run through the end of this season. Whether the NHL will renew its partnership with Green Day is currently unknown, but don’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen especially after the band’s performance at the 2020 NHL All-Star Game which saw Billie Joe Armstrong drop a number of F-Bombs on live television.
