Green Day Unveils 25th Anniversary Reissue of ‘Warning’ Album

Green Day is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 2000 album, *Warning*, with a special reissue. The expanded edition will be available on November 14 in five-LP vinyl and four-CD formats, as well as digitally.

This reissue features the remastered original album, along with demos, rarities, alternate mixes, and a live recording from a 2001 concert in Tokyo. Fans can check out a demo of the song “Castaway” now.

*Warning* was first released on October 3, 2000. At the time, it was seen as a commercial disappointment, as it was the first Green Day album not to achieve at least Platinum status from the RIAA since their breakout album, *Dookie*, in 1994. However, over the years, *Warning* has received a critical reevaluation and includes one of the band’s most popular live tracks, “Minority.”

Despite its initial struggles, Green Day bounced back with their next album, *American Idiot*, in 2004, which solidified their status as one of rock’s biggest bands.
