Halsey has announced a new North American tour, dubbed Love And Power, to take place this summer in support of If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.

The New Jersey-born musician released their fourth album last August and will now take it on tour for the first time from May.

The gigs will kick off in West Palm Beach, FL on May 17 and continue on until July 9, when the tour concludes at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. All shows will be held at outdoor venues and will follow Live Nation’s COVID-19 protocol, which requires all attendees to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test.

Halsey will be supported by British grunge star Beabadoobee and London alt-pop newcomer PinkPantheress between May 17 to June 8 (except May 21). LA indie-pop band The Marias and TikTok make-up artist-turned-pop star Abby Roberts will join them from June 16 to July 9, excluding June 21 where Wolf Alice will open.

“it’s been far too long and i could not be more excited to see you all,” Halsey wrote on Twitter. “the love and power tour is coming this summer.” Tickets will go on general sale on Friday (February 4) and will be available to purchase here.

Some of the tour dates include festival headline appearances, including at Hangout Fest in Alabama and Governors Ball in New York.

In December, Halsey released an extended edition of If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, featuring two versions of their 2020 single “Nightmare,” as well as the track “People Disappear Here.” Both songs had previously been released on special US retailer releases of the record last year.

Weeks before that release, the pop icon shared a new video for “Honey,” which appeared on the Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross-produced album. The clip saw the star getting covered in honey while performing the track.

On March 2, Halsey will be honored at the BandLab NME Awards 2022, where she will receive the Innovation Award. “I wasn’t expecting [this], I was very surprised,” she told NME when the news was announced last year. “But it’s really, really awesome – I think you start to get really sad and nervous about how your music connects when you’re not around to bring it to life, and to know that it’s still resonating is really, really cool.”
