Hear Metallica’s ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls’ in the Style of Alice In Chains

If you’ve ever pondered what certain Metallica songs done in the style of Alice in Chains would sound like, then this day just…got…amazing!

YouTuber Denis Pauna has done it again with the video below of him performing Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” in the style of grunge icons AIC. The fact that he recorded two different vocal tracks to harmonize with himself a la Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell was a nice, pleasing touch.

Pauna’s YouTube channel is full of different takes on songs. In February, we highlighted his take on Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus’ done in the style of Motorhead, which was also oddly satisfying.
