Puscifer is hitting the road for a U.S. tour starting this Friday in Las Vegas to promote their new album, *Normal Isn’t*. The band previously showcased the album during their *Live at the Pacific Stock Exchange* concert film, which helped frontman Maynard James Keenan figure out how to perform the new songs live. “I think they translated very well live,” Keenan said. “It’s gonna be a great tour, ’cause we’ll mix older songs with the new ones.”
Fans can look forward to hearing Keenan sing “bunghole” during the song “Self Evident” from the new album. When asked why he chose to channel The Great Cornholio, he explained, “I was avoiding, like, the obvious big words you have to bleep out. And I thought, ‘Well, bunghole works better than a.’”
Before releasing *Normal Isn’t*, Puscifer toured in 2024 and 2025 for the Sessanta tour, celebrating Keenan’s 60th birthday. That tour also featured A Perfect Circle and Primus.
As for future plans, Keenan hinted that a Settanta tour for his 70th birthday in 2034 might not be necessary. “I’m sure we’ll do one before then,” he said. “A Perfect Circle needs some new music, and I think Primus is working on a new album, so it would make more sense to have newer songs on that tour.”
