Introducing Featured X, An Online Artist Booking Platform That Connects Artists For Song Features

ARTIST OWNED LAUNCHES ARTIST FEATURE BOOKING PLATFORM CALLED FEATURED X

The online platform has added over 150 musicians since its July 2020 launch

Featured X has launched an online booking platform that provides up-and-coming artists the ability to work with industry-level vocalists. Beginning with a focus on the metalcore genre, Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, Levi Benton of Miss May I, Tyler Carter of Issues, Lauren Babic of Red Handed Denial and CrazyEightyEight, and Tom Barber of Chelsea Grin are among the list of the first 48 Featured Artists. The site is already beginning to branch off into different genres with the inclusion of SoundCloud rapper Lil Lotus of If I Die First.

After a month of operation, updates to the platform were made from collected feedback received from users and artists to cater towards all user experiences.

The updated website launches with the addition of Kellin Quinn, vocalist of Sleeping with Sirens, where he will be waiting until the end of the September before choosing five requests to be featured on. Quinn’s focus is on discovering new talent to develop after launching his own mentorship organization, Dreamer Development Group, last year.

The update also includes an enhanced artist dashboard for clearer management as well as smoother communication between all parties. More services have been added to the platform, including biography and press release writing, as well as artist connection enhancement with a new Q&A program for artists at every level.

The Featured Artist’s pages provide details for customers, including a layout of the steps of the process, artist approval time, and varying purchasing options. The artist dashboard allows both sides of the transaction to communicate and interact. The platform provides a straightforward experience on the Featured X domain for users on both ends.

Featured X’s mission is to provide artists an environment of collaboration that will encompass and equally benefit artists on all levels of the industry.

Featured X CEO and co-founder Jeff Menig had this to say, “Featured X will be streamlining a part of the industry that has never been effectively utilized. We’re creating a transparent environment for all levels of artists to collaborate on a level never seen, and we’re going to help artists monetize themselves in more creative and efficient ways.”

Fellow Featured X partner and COO Adam Pickney says, “We didn’t truly realize how special this project was until the first requests came in and we saw how the artists interacted with each other. We want to change the narrative by bridging the gap between artists through technology, giving them a clear and safe place to communicate effectively.”

“At a time when touring is at a standstill, income as a musician is extremely hard to come by,” states fellow Featured X co-founder and Head of Talent (as well as bassist for Fit for a King) Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary. He went on today, “Featured X allows artists to pick the projects they enjoy and help build the vision for the new crop of artists. We’re so thankful for the cooperation of so many friends and peers as we begin this journey.”

ABOUT FEATURED X:
Featured X is an artist featuring platform aimed to heighten the ability of artistic interaction. As the first project under the Artist Owned umbrella, Featured X looks to kickstart a revolution for artist synergy across all levels of the industry. From bands to solo artists, all musical dreams will be able to take off on Featured X. The easy-to-use platform looks to be a launching point for the future of the music industry.
