Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is recalling a batch of Passion Fruit Dreamsicle Ice Cream Bars. The reason? Some bars may contain soy and wheat that aren’t listed on the label. This happened because a crunch topping from another product accidentally got mixed into this batch during production.
The crunch topping includes wheat and soy, which could be a problem for anyone with allergies or severe sensitivities. The FDA warns that consuming these bars could lead to serious or even life-threatening allergic reactions.
As of now, there have been no reports of injuries or illnesses related to this recall. The affected lot is 25-210, and these ice cream bars were sent to grocery stores all over the U.S.
If you bought the Passion Fruit Dreamsicle Ice Cream Bars, you can return them to the store for a full refund. For more details about the recall, you can call Jeni’s at 614-488-3224 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or shoot them an email at contact@jenis.com. Stay safe and enjoy your ice cream!
