Jeremy Loops has shared his long-awaited third studio album Heard You Got Love via Decca Records, following up his 2018 sophomore effort Critical As Water. The album finds the South African singer and songwriter teaming up with Ed Sheeran and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, among other collaborators.
Loops, who is also known for his production and eco-activism work, recruited Charlie Puth and Yungblud collaborator Red Triangle to produce “Head Start,” the new single for Heard You Got Love. The summery track was co-written with Wayne Hector and follows Loops’ latest single “Better Together” which found him tapped in with Sheeran, who he met backstage at a hometown show.
“This is the album I’ve always wanted to make and my hope is that some of the things I’ve written about will mean as much to others as they do to me,” Loops shared in a statement. “Every song speaks to something I care deeply about.”
Throughout Heard You Got Love, Loops collaborates with Simone Felice (The Lumineers), Jake Gosling (Shawn Mendes), Tobias Kuhn (Milky Chance) and Carey Willets (Dermot Kennedy). The list of producers featured on the album including Ed Holloway (Lewis Capaldi), Eg White (Adele) and Cam Blackwood (George Ezra).
Later this year, Loops will hit the road for an extensive tour supporting the record. The trek kicks off on September 2 with a show in Glasgow and wraps in London on October 6. In between, the singer will perform in Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and more. Ticket information can be found on the official Jeremy Loops website.
