AboutJJ Savage:
Formed and fronted by 21 yr old guitarist / vocalistJJ Savage,JJis joined by metal legendsMichael Butler(Exodus) andAndy Galeon(Death Angel). The band recently recorded a collection of hard rock tunes exemplifying the power of this three piece unit and featuring the single“Close the Curtain”. Blending modern pop sensibility with blazing old school metal, the band enjoys a unique sound and hyper intense live performance.JJ Savagehas shows scheduled for Summer 2022 and is hopeful to hit the festival circuit.
Diagnosed with extreme Tourette’s Syndrome and other challenges at age 5,JJsoon realized he could use his gift for music to express himself completely. After leaving school and home at age 13,JJbegan playing music venues consisting of ” juke joints” and road house bars. Originally signed to his first recording contract at age 16,JJeventually left New York and ended up in California to begin the bandJJ SAVAGE. After being recognized with theRonnie Montrose New Guitarist Awardat NAMM,
JJreleased his first single“Junkyard Dogs”with Universal Music Group. CurrentlyJJ SAVAGEis with SONY/Orchard/The Studio for the release of his first full length effort, coming summer 2022!
