Joe Walsh isn’t concerned about AI impacting musicians, and he has a very funny reason why.
While at the Ringo Starr’s recent birthday celebration in Los Angeles, Walsh was asked about the technology by the Associated Press. He said, “I don’t have much to say about it. It’s computers. It has nothing to do with music.”
Walsh added, “It’s, you know, it can’t destroy a hotel room. It can’t throw a TV off the fifth floor into the pool and get right in the middle. When AI knows how to destroy a hotel room, then I’ll pay attention to it.”
Walsh’s days of trashing hotel rooms have long been in the rearview. However, his days of wrapping up touring with the Eagles are starting to come to an end. The legendary band announced their farewell tour this month. So far, only 19 dates have been confirmed, but more dates will be announced as they’re finalized.
