Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age and Gene Simmons from KISS are set to perform at a tribute show for the late Bon Scott, the iconic singer of AC/DC. The concert will take place on February 3 at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles. This event also celebrates comedian Dean Delray’s 60th birthday. Delray will host the night and take on lead vocals.
Other artists joining the lineup include Brad Wilk from Rage Against the Machine, Larry “Ler” LaLonde from Primus, Mike Inez from Alice in Chains, Steve Gorman, former drummer for the Black Crowes, and Jake E. Lee, who played guitar for Ozzy Osbourne.
Bon Scott passed away in 1980 at the age of 33. After his death, AC/DC brought in Brian Johnson as their new vocalist for the album “Back in Black,” which was released the same year. Johnson continues to be the band’s singer today.
