As Thanksgiving nears, KFC is encouraging Americans to skip the turkey and grab a bucket of fried chicken instead. They’ve launched the $25 Extra Crispy Festive Feast, a limited-time holiday meal designed to make the season easier and crunchier.
The meal features eight pieces of Extra Crispy chicken, two large sides of mashed potatoes with gravy and mac and cheese, four biscuits, and four cookies. It’s perfect for feeding a family without the hassle of cooking and cleaning.
KFC is also introducing its first-ever Gravy Flight, which includes three types of gravy: Classic Brown, Herb & Garlic Butter, and Spicy Black Pepper. The brand calls it “a trio worth gathering for,” adding a fun twist to the holiday meal.
Recent data shows that over a third of people now order takeout or delivery for Thanksgiving. KFC aims to tap into this trend by offering a festive and affordable option that brings comfort and nostalgia.
In addition to the new feast, KFC is bringing back the fan-favorite $4.99 Chicken Pot Pie, available nationwide for a limited time. This classic dish, filled with chicken and veggies in gravy, is another easy dinner choice for the holiday.
KFC is using humor this season, telling customers to “stick a spork in the stress” and let them handle the cooking. The Extra Crispy Festive Feast and Gravy Flight will be available at participating U.S. restaurants starting this November, while supplies last. This Thanksgiving, KFC is making a strong case that crispy might just beat traditional turkey.
