Biography: KISStory was announced earlier this week. The new documentary will span four hours and will air over the course of two nights on A&E on Sunday, June 27 and Monday, June 28. The two-hour blocks will both begin at 9/8c.

Per Rolling Stone, “The doc will offer an in-depth look at Kiss’ start in New York City’s rock scene during the Seventies, their rise to global fame, struggles with drugs and alcohol during the Eighties, and their revival and reunion in the Nineties. ‘KISStory’ will also feature interviews with avowed Kiss fans like Dave Grohl and Tom Morello, as well as the band’s manager Doc McGhee and producer Bob Ezrin.”

Rolling Stone notes the documentary will include new interviews with Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer. It hasn’t been confirmed whether Ace Frehley and Peter Criss were also interviewed for KISStory.
