Lady Gaga Stars As Patrizia Reggiani In Thrilling New ‘House Of Gucci’ Trailer

The second trailer for the upcoming film House of Gucci starring Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani has been shared ahead of the highly anticipated film’s November 24 theatrical release.

The new preview offers more insight into the tumultuous marriage between Gaga’s Patrizia and Adam Driver’s Maurizio Gucci as the famous fashion house’s dynasty begins to crumble under the weight of his assassination.

Gaga taps into her Italian roots as she transforms completely into Reggiani, the real Mrs. Gucci who was tried and convicted of plotting the murder of her husband after he left her for a younger woman. Known as “Black Widow,” Gucci’s ex-wife would go on 18 years in prison before being released in 2016.

House of Gucci was directed by Ridley Scott and written by Roberto Bentivegna, based on the Sara Gay Forden novel The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.

The film, which also stars Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, and Al Pacino, marks Gaga’s first return to the big screen since the 2018 critically acclaimed adaptation of A Star Is Born. The film spawned a hit in the Bradley Cooper-assisted “Shallow” which was awarded Best Original Song at the 2019 Academy Awards, where the film itself was up for eight awards, and the 2019 Golden Globes. Gaga received nominations at both the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes in the Best Actress categories for her role as Ally.

In between her film schedules, Gaga is still an international pop star. Most recently, she shared the Tony Bennett collaborative album Love For Sale following a string of live performances with her close friend and collaborator as well as the Chromatica remix album Dawn of Chromatica featuring Charli XCX, Dorian Electra, Rina Sawayama, Bree Runway, and more.
