Lauren Alaina has announced her headlining Top of the World Tour, to open in February 2022 and presented by women’s fashion brand Maurices, with special guest Spencer Crandall.
The country star’s itinerary begins on February 24 in Silver Spring, MD, and runs over 21 dates until an April 15 show in Charleston, NC. “After two long years, I am so excited to get back on the road for my second headlining tour,” says Alaina.
“My fans have continued to support me even when we weren’t able to be in the same room together. I’m on Top Of The World thinking about being back on stage, face to face, with the people who got me here.”
David Kornberg, Maurices chief executive officer, adds: “We are proud to be the presenting sponsor of Lauren Alaina’s tour, with Lauren styled in her favorite Maurices outfits. Our customers love country music. Lauren’s tour locations and her mission align strongly with our core purpose of making a positive difference in the lives of women who are the heart of our hometowns.”
The upcoming tour follows Alaina’s sold out, first headlining That Girl Was Me Tour, which concluded in early 2020. It comes in the wake of her third studio album Sitting Pretty on Top of the World, which was released in September and included her collaborative single with Jon Pardi, “Getting Over Him.” It also includes the gold-certified “Getting Good,” featuring the artist’s friend and mentor Trisha Yearwood.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday (December 10) and are available at her website. Alaina’s first book Getting Good At Being You: Learning to Love Who God Made You to Be is published today (7) by Thomas Nelson. It contains personal stories leading to “practical tips, take-it-on-the-road strategies, and encouragement for your own personal and spiritual growth.”
