Lemmy Kilmister Had His Ashes Put In Bullets To Be Given To His Friends

Lemmy Kilmister gifted his closest friends special bullet casings filled with his ashes, which is easily one of the most metal and truly appropriate things he could’ve done.

Headbanger’s Ball host Riki Rachtman was one of the recipients of this final gift from the Motorhead frontman. Rachtman shared a photo of the bullet on Twitter, which was engraved simply with “Lemmy.”

Rachtman wrote, “Before his death, #Lemmy asked for his ashes to be put in some bullets & handed out to his closest friends. Today, I received a bullet & was literally brought to tears Thank you @myMotorhead.”

Lemmy died just four days after his 70th birthday on December 28, 2015. His cause of death was a combination of prostate cancer, cardiac arrhythmia and congestive heart failure.
