Staying true to the emotional burden of the song’s lyrics, the music video for “Heavy” features frontman Chester Bennington and guest Kiiara at an Alcoholics Anonymous-styled meeting. With the focus on Bennington, we see his inner conflict unfold in a violent manner as he becomes fiercely engaged at the meeting. Back at home, the singer sits at a table surrounded by liquor bottles while he deals with inner struggles that play out across scenes where another version of Bennington chastises the sitting incarnation and the two physically clash.

Guitarist and co-vocalist Mike Shinoda indicated the style heard on “Heavy” is indicative of the “core sound” of the album, stating, “This wasn’t a scenario where the whole album sounds one way and the single sounds different. This is how the album sounds. So we wanted to go out with a song like that, where everybody can get a sense of the direction of this body of work.”

The One More Light disc will be out on May 19 through Warner Bros. and fans can pre-order the album at the Linkin Park webstore
