Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy is featured on a new song by Motion City Soundtrack called “Particle Physics.” In this track, he duets with MCS lead singer Justin Pierre, singing, “Is there a doctor in the house/ Who could figure me out?/ It’s like you need a PhD to get me.”
Motion City Soundtrack expressed their gratitude, saying, “Huge thank you to Patrick Stump for jumping on this track with us.” “Particle Physics” will be part of their upcoming album, *The Same Old Wasted Wonderful World*, which is set to release this Friday.
To celebrate the album launch, Motion City Soundtrack will hold release shows in Chicago and Minneapolis on Wednesday and Friday. After that, they will kick off a full U.S. tour with Say Anything in November.
Meanwhile, Fall Out Boy recently released their album *So Much (for) Stardust* in 2023. They are also preparing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic 2005 album, *From Under the Cork Tree*, with a reissue coming out on October 17.
