The likes of Machine Gun Kelly, Playboi Carti, Architects and Lil Yachty have all been announced for the inaugural edition of ALT+LDN festival, which will take place in Clapham this summer.
The festival, which organizers say is “forged from the inescapable world of hip-hop and alternative culture”, will take place on London’s Clapham Common on Monday August 30. Tickets will go on sale from Wednesday, May 5. Other acts to perform include the likes of The Kid Laroi and Ski Mask The Slump God. Check out the event’s official website for further information.
“A culture. A modern youth revolution. The coming together of influence and importance for a festival like no other – ALT+LDN brings it all together,” organizers said of the event in an official release. “Whether it’s in hip-hop, rock or the alternative – it’s all about the here and now.”
Meanwhile, yesterday saw Kelly debuting new track “Love Race”. The song, which features Kellin Quinn and Travis Barker, follows on from last month’s CORPSE collaboration “Daywalker!”, which marked MGK’s first single of 2021. His latest studio album, Tickets To My Downfall, came out in September 2020.
Machine Gun Kelly is also due to perform at Reading & Leeds festivals this August alongside headliners Liam Gallagher, Stormzy, Post Malone, Catfish & The Bottlemen and Queens Of The Stone Age. Yesterday, he also announced his Fall 2021 ‘Tickets to My Downfall’ US Tour. Slated to begin September 9 in Minneapolis, Minnesota at The Armory, his 28-city trek will include stops in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Denver. For the tour’s finale, MGK will perform in his hometown of Ohio at the city’s largest venue, The Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Special guests will also accompany the polymath star throughout the dates, ranging from carolesdaughter, jxdn, and KennyHoopla.
Last month, MGK also announced the forthcoming launch of his unisex nail polish titled UN/DN in collaboration with Unlisted Brand Lab.
