Mark Hoppus shared some great news regarding his current cancer battle.

Hoppus, who’s been sharing regular updates on his diagnosis, took to social media with the following statement: “Scans indicate that the chemo is working! I still have months of treatment ahead, but it’s the best possible news. I’m so grateful and confused and also sick from last week’s chemo. But the poison the doctors pump into me and the kind thoughts and wishes of people around me are destroying this cancer. Just gonna keep fighting…”

Hoppus has been sharing updates in brief statements like the one above and via Twitch streams. During his last stream, he shared he was diagnoses with stage 4A Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. This type of cancer is also the same type Hoppus’ mother had and beat. (She also previously was diagnosed and beat breast cancer twice.)
