Metallica Classic Soundtracks New Video from NASA

Metallica just made space even cooler thanks to NASA using their hit “Fuel” to soundtrack a new video about the Artemis missions to the Moon.

Honestly, whoever does NASA’s “hype videos” deserves a raise, because we can’t remember the last time we were this stoked about space. The fact NASA shared this video yesterday (July 13) on the International Day of Rock makes it all the better.

While NASA takes off for the Moon, Metallica is taking off for the first North American leg of their M72 World Tour soon. The leg kicks off on August 4 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Fans that weren’t able to snag tickets to see Metallica live in person will be able to catch the band at a local movie theater. The metal icons announced their August 18 and 20 shows in Arlington, Texas will broadcast live in select theaters worldwide. The broadcast itself will have a “state-of-the-art multi-camera setup” so fans in theaters will be in the thick of everything.
