We here at Digital Noise Mag were honored to shoot New Kids on the Block, Paula Abdul and Philly’s own Boyz II Men at the Wells Fargo Center while they are all out on NKOTB’s ‘The Total Package’ Tour.

Boyz II Men hit the stage first, after getting a part of Broad Street named after them earlier in the day, reminding everyone they are from the neighborhood by starting off with their hit ‘Motown Philly’.  Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris, and Shawn Stockman were all wearing white t-shirts with the area of Philly they are from.  They played all of their hits including ‘On Bended Knee,’ ‘It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday,’ and finished of the their set with ‘End of the Road.’

Paula Abdul was up next.  Again, her set was filled with nothing but her hits along with a tribute legendary dancer Gene Kelly.  Abdul started her night being lifted off of a riser while wearing a sequence gold dress and singed her hit ‘The Way That You Love Me.’ Her set was short on songs but included a lot in the way of choreography.  Her and her dancers almost never stopped dancing throughout the short 7 song set that included ‘Opposites Attract’, (which included a virtual appearance by MC Scat Cat) ‘Straight Up’ and ‘Forever your Girl’

Finally the moment we were all waiting for. Jordan-Donnie-Danny-Joey-Jon otherwise known as The New Kids on the Block or NKOTB, appeared in plume of smoke.  I’ll have to say it was a little odd to see the boys, who are now men, doing so much air humping, but I guess most of their fans are adults now.  The show was almost 2 hours long and included a rising stage, confetti canons and pyro.  Of course they belted out all of their hits.  The set list consisted of something around 30 songs, too many to list, but if you liked a song of theirs they probably performed it.
