Norm Macdonald Once Played Tommy Lee in ‘SNL’ Skit, Video Resurfaces

Following Norm Macdonald’s death last week, plenty of classic clips from his career have surfaced in tribute, including this clip from Saturday Night Live where the comedian played Tommy Lee.

The premiss of the skit shows then-wife Pamela Anderson filming a fake movie scene opposite Will Ferrell. Macdonald as Lee then interrupts multiple takes and gets violent because he thinks Ferrell’s character is getting too friendly with Anderson and clearly doesn’t understand they’re just acting. Things take a turn for the meta when the real Tommy Lee makes an appearance and takes issue with Macdonald for being too friendly with Anderson.

Side note:  The SNL makeup department is truly one of the best ever because Macdonald really does look like Lee in the skit thanks to some fake tattoos and a very convincing wig.
