Osbourne’s performance caused a bit of controversy last week. As previously reported, his halftime show performance was part of NBC’s Thursday Night Football broadcast. Osbourne’s performance was introduced by NBC’s Maria Taylor while he was in the middle of singing “Patient Number 9”. Only 10 seconds of the performance was aired on NBC. Afterwards, the broadcast cut to analysts talking about the first half of the game between the Rams and the visiting Buffalo Bills.

Many fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations about tuning into the broadcast for such little payoff. Below are some notable responses.

In other Ozzy news: A lawsuit from the hard rock/metal icon will be filed in the near future. The lawsuit stems from a 2019 neck and spine surgery. Ozzy said in an interview with U.K.’s The Sun published in August about the surgery, “I was told, ‘You’ve got a good chance of being paralyzed for the rest of your life.’ You just don’t expect the surgeon to be a f—ing butcher. I was left in agony.”

Wife/manager Sharon Osbourne said to Rolling Stone, “We’re going to sue. You just don’t want other people to go through what you’ve gone through. It’s a f—ing nightmare. But here we are today, and life is better.”
