Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee Series in the Works at Hulu

A Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee eight-episode limited series is currently in the works at Hulu, and major casting decisions have already been made.

Per Variety, Lily James and Sebastian Stan are in talks to play Anderson and Lee, respectively. James’ previous credits include the TV series Downton Abbey and various films, including 2015’s Cinderella and 2017’s Baby Driver. Stan is best known for playing Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

Variety notes, “The project will delve into the tumultuous relationship between the rock star and the model/actress, including the infamous incident in which their honeymoon sex tape was stolen and leaked to the public.”

News of this series is significant considering none of the Anderson/Lee saga was included in Netflix’s The Dirt, the 2019 film adaptation of the Motley Crue memoir, which included many details of Anderson and Lee’s infamous marriage.

So far, a production schedule and an estimated release date aren’t currently known.
