Puscifer has just launched a new comic book series called *Tales from the Pusciverse*. This exciting project was hinted at in the video for their latest song, “ImpetuoUs.” The series is written by frontman Maynard James Keenan, with artwork by Marlin Shoop and Andy Belanger. The first issue introduces a new character created by Keenan named Bellendia Black.
Keenan shared his excitement, saying, “I remember how thrilled I was as a kid when Wolverine first appeared in a Hulk comic. I called dibs on him before cosplay was even a thing. Seeing Bellendia Black in print brings back all those joyful memories from school.”
Artist Marlin Shoop added, “Puscifer’s move into comics isn’t just about merchandise; it’s part of their ongoing exploration of the absurd. The comic captures the same tension as their music—mixing satire with a hint of menace and humor with deep thoughts. I’m proud to be part of this vision.”
