A rare, unreleased performance by Nirvana is up for auction! The video and audio capture the band’s live show from February 17, 1990, at Iguanas in Tijuana, Mexico. This footage showcases Nirvana in their early days as they promoted their debut album, *Bleach*.
During the concert, the Seattle rockers played 13 songs. Frontman Kurt Cobain made a memorable impression by diving onto the floor seven times and smashing two guitars, even playfully interacting with the camera.
The auction includes two original master tapes with raw footage from different camera angles, totaling 45 minutes of performance. Along with the tapes, the package comes with a U.S. Copyright Office Certificate of Registration, a poster from a show at Raji’s in Los Angeles two nights earlier, and an original white vinyl pressing of *Bleach*.
Hosted by Bonhams, the auction is open until Thursday at 12 p.m. PT. The estimated selling price for this incredible footage is between $100,000 and $150,000.
