The Rolling Stones’ flagship RS No.9 Carnaby store in London’s Soho has launched its Carnaby Holiday Collection. The group’s famous tongue and lips logo is receiving a festive makeover in a series of seasonal accessories and clothing pieces, which are now available online and instore.
The collection is described as offering everything from “fun stocking fillers to luxe fashion offerings,” adding a touch more coolness to Christmas with the endorsement of the rock legends.
The new range includes premium leather gloves, an embossed leather cardholder, a supersoft hoodie and sweater, and a Stones tongue beanie. Stocking fillers include Rolling Stones playing cards set and a luxurious black silk tongue print sleeping mask.
There’s also a series of Rolling Stones baubles with which to decorate the tree, with red, mirrored and glittered offerings. The Christopher Radko x Stones Glitter Tongue Ornament is a collector’s item blending the premium craftsmanship of the bespoke glass ornament and holiday decoration company with the rock’n’roll aesthetic of the Stones.
Other items in the range include an oxblood holiday hoodie, Stones-decorated dog collar and dog leash, and a cable knit sweater featuring the famous logo donning a Santa hat, with the band name down the sleeve. The collection is now available in person at 9 Carnaby Street and for worldwide shipping at carnaby.therollingstonesshop.co.uk.
The massively successful and widely acclaimed 2021 leg of the Stones’ No Filter tour came to a conclusion at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, California, on November 23. Speculation will now mount as to whether the band will mark their 60th anniversary with more shows in 2022.
Steve Jordan, who took the place of Charlie Watts at the drumkit following his death, told Rolling Stone: “Well, it would make sense, but I don’t know…all I did was look at the job at hand, these 14 shows, and I wasn’t looking past that. I just wanted to nail these 14 shows. That was my mindset.”
