After her amazing summer tour, Shania Twain and her Foundation announced a generous donation of $25,000 to food banks in every city she visited. Twain expressed her gratitude, saying, “It was wonderful meeting the people behind these amazing charities. Together, we can provide food security to families in need. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
Gayle Carlson from the Montana Food Bank Network highlighted the impact of the donation, stating, “This gift will help us provide at least 100,000 meals to our 330 partners. We appreciate Ms. Twain’s dedication to supporting communities across the U.S.” Susan King from Feeding Northeast Florida added, “Your support will provide 150,000 meals to those in need. This is truly impactful as we face rising demand.”
Katelyn Rice from the Good Shepherd Food Bank noted, “Besides this generous gift, we received great press coverage that raised awareness about food insecurity. The impact of this tour is truly remarkable.”
Twain performed seven shows across North America in July and August, starting on July 19 in Buffalo and wrapping up on August 1 in Hollywood, FL. With her 60th birthday coming up on August 28, she has invited fans to donate to the Shania Twain Foundation, which focuses on eliminating food insecurity, empowering youth, and supporting mental well-being.
