Shinedown to Make Grand Ole Opry Debut in October: Dance, Kid, Dance!

Shinedown, known for their rock and pop hits, is now venturing into country music. The band will make their Grand Ole Opry debut on October 10. The Opry, which started in 1925, is one of the longest-running radio shows in the U.S. It features live performances from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee, and is available online and on TV. While the show mainly highlights country artists, it also welcomes musicians from other genres.

Guitarist Zach Myers expressed his excitement about the upcoming performance. “Being a kid from Tennessee, I grew up watching the Opry with my grandmother. I never thought I would stand on that legendary stage. Now that it’s happening, we couldn’t be happier to be part of such a historic year for the Opry.”

Shinedown’s appearance is part of the Opry’s 100th anniversary celebration happening throughout October. Tickets are available at Opry.com.

Recently, Shinedown topped the rock charts with their latest single, “Killing Fields,” following the success of “Three, Six, Five” and “Dance, Kid, Dance.” Fans can look forward to an exciting show as the band takes this new step in their musical journey.
