The Beatles: Another Chart Record of Theirs Has Been Broken by Drake

Drake has added another musical feat to his record as he surpasses The Beatles by earning the most top five hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in its history.

According to Billboard, the Canadian rapper secured his 30th career hit with DJ Khaled’s “Staying Alive” featuring Lil Baby, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. He now has the most top five hits of any artist of all time.

This is not the first time Drake has broken a Beatles record. He surpassed the group’s record for the most songs simultaneously in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10 (seven to five) back in 2018 when he dropped his album Scorpion. A year later the rapper got a tattoo to commemorate the feat by getting the cover to Abbey Road on his arm. He has now beat that record with the 2021 release of Certified, Loverboy which secured nine out of the ten top spots.
