The Maccabees’ ‘Marks To Prove It’ Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Special Reissue

The Maccabees are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their final album, *Marks To Prove It*, with a special reissue set to drop on November 28. Fans can look forward to four different formats: a classic black double-vinyl, a single vinyl, a 3-CD set, and digital versions.

The double-vinyl, 3-CD, and digital editions include B-sides, acoustic tracks, and a new version of the title track recorded for BBC Radio 6 by DJ Steve Lamacq. The 3-CD and digital formats also feature the band’s full set from Glastonbury 2015, which included a guest appearance by Jamie T on “Marks To Prove It.” The single vinyl is designed as a zoetrope disc by Drew Tetz, while the artwork for the double-vinyl and 3-CD was created by the band’s longtime designer, Matt De Jong. The cover showcases the Michael Faraday Memorial, a well-known landmark in London’s Elephant & Castle.

Originally released in July 2015, *Marks To Prove It* features popular singles like “Something Like Happiness,” “Spit It Out,” and the title track. It marked a significant moment for the band as it became their first album to reach the top of the UK Albums chart. Guitarist Felix White reflected, “It’s probably the closest thing to a definitive Maccabees album, with a part of all the versions of us before in it.”

Before this album, The Maccabees released *Colour It In* (2007), *Wall of Arms* (2009), and *Given to the Wild* (2012). After a hiatus, they returned to the stage at London’s All Points East festival in August, marking their first live show in eight years. Don’t miss out—order *Marks To Prove It* now!
