This Metallica/Huey Lewis Mashup is Super Catchy

Metallica and Huey Lewis and the News have met in an epic new mashup that proves that the internet isn’t always a disappointing dumpster fire.

Mashup specialist Bill McClintock recently shared “Hip to Be the Sandman” to his YouTube channel. As you can guess, the mashup combines Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” and Huey Lewis and the News’ “Hip to Be Square” and can be watched in all its glory below.

Honestly, this mashup is long overdue, particularly if you were still jamming to the seasonal mashup of Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which like “Hip to Be the Sandman” is a small reminder that maybe, just maybe, we can have nice things.
