VIDEO: See 1,000 Musicians Pay Tribute to Taylor Hawkins

Taylor Hawkins was honored with a moving tribute that saw 1,000 musicians gather for a rousing performance of the Foo Fighters classic “My Hero.”

The performance was organized by Rockin’ 1000, which has a unique history with the Foo Fighters. As the group states in the video’s YouTube description, “In 2015, 1000 Rockers performed simultaneously ‘Learn to Fly’ by the Foo Fighters in Cesena, Italy. The video got more than 32 million views and the Foos actually held a concert in town!”

The performance below took place at the Stade de France in Paris earlier this month. According to Loudwire, “My Hero” was part of a larger show that featured performances of other classic songs from Guns N’ Roses, The Who, Rage Against the Machine and more.
