Watch 12-Minute Skrillex Documentary of 2016 “The Same Place”

What a year 2016 was for Skrillex. The wildly talented, multi-faceted artist dropped heavy singles like “Waiting” with What So Not and RL Grime, “Purple Lamborghini” with Rick Ross and “Killa” with Wiwek to name a few.

His record label, OWSLA, is stronger than ever and has cultivated an incredibly loyal following from its brand, which has somewhat developed into a lifestyle. His imprint has continued to be a trendsetter in electronic music, picking up promising acts like Marshmello and Joyryde who’ve become some of the most exciting dance acts to watch in the past year.

Skrillex, along with Jas Davis and Winterhalter who have filmed and edited his insane pictures and videos, have put together an epic 12-minute mini doc called “The Same Place” that recaps the year.
