Watch – Jimmy Fallon, Metallica and the Roots Sing Enter Sandman

Metallica members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, and Kirk Hammett appeared on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and tore through the band’s iconic hit for one of Fallon’s signature bits. Previous musicians to play their hits using classroom instruments included Adele, Mariah Carey, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Idina Menzel, among others.

Metallica’s new album, Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, is out on Nov. 18.
