Watch – Rob Zombie ‘Get Your Boots On! That’s the End of Rock And Roll’ performance video

Rob Zombie‘s live show is one of the best going, typically employing a number of stage props to add a real visual presence to the performance. But what happens when Rob moves from the spacious stages of the amphitheaters to the more cozy confines of a club? The extras are stripped back a bit, with the focus really centering on the live performance, and you get a taste of that in the new Rob Zombie video for “Get Your Boots On! That’s the End of Rock and Roll.”

Back in April, Rob Zombie and his band knocked off any existing rust by booking their first Hollywood club show since 2009, playing the Roxy ahead of their touring in support of The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser. The room was electric as fans packed in for the special performance, the first of the band’s album cycle, and one of the highlights of that night was the debut of the song “Get Your Boots On! That’s the End of Rock and Roll.”

The clip showcases not only the energy that Zombie’s band generates, but also how thrilled the audience was to see Rob and his band in this type of environment. The “Get on Your Boots” video is the sixth clip to be released from his Electric Warlock album.

Having logged many miles and played many stages this year, Zombie’s tour schedule is currently a little light with only an appearance the Download festival scheduled for next year. But stay tuned to see if more shows are added for 2017 at this location.

In other Rob Zombie news, his latest film 31 will be available for purchase on DVD and Blu-Ray on Dec. 20, just in time for the holidays. Both formats will include feature-length commentary from Zombie and a two-hour “making of” documentary titled In Hell Everybody Loves Popcorn: The Making of 31. Pre-orders are currently being taken at this location.
