ZZ Top, Parker McCollum, More For Outlaw-Themed Born & Raised Festival

ZZ Top, Blackberry Smoke, Lucinda Williams, and Parker McCollum are among the artists confirmed for the inaugural Born & Raised Music Festival, described as “a weekend of music and camping for the outlaw in all of us.”

Mounted by AEG Presents, the two-day event will take place on September 18 and 19 in Pryor, Oklahoma (preceded by a Friday Night Honky Tonk on the 17th) and will feature over 30 acts from the outlaw, Texas and red dirt country scenes.

Also on board for the first Born & Raised are Cody Jinks, the Randy Rogers Band, Paul Cauthen, Wade Bowen, Nikki Lane, Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, Jack Ingram, Hayes Carll, and more. This year’s event will include a special pre-festival Friday Night Honky Tonk on Sept. 17. The festival will also feature the BBQ Ranch, curated by pitmaster Wayne Mueller, owner and pitmaster of Central Texas’ Louie Mueller Barbecue.

The festival location is four miles north of Pryor, OK, and five miles south of Adair, OK. Pryor is a 45-minute drive from Tulsa, the nearest airport to the site. Presale passes for the event will be available beginning on Saturday (5) at 10 am CT.

General-access passes will go on sale on June 7 at the same time. General admission prices start at $99.50, with reserved seating and VIP passes also available. Born & Raised has partnered with GovX to provide discounted passes for military and military veterans, starting at $89.50.

Festival Producer Mike DuCharme of AEG Presents says of the festival, which had planned to launch in June 2020 before pandemic restrictions prevented it: “We were excited to launch Born & Raised in 2020, and to say we’re even more excited in 2021 is an understatement. This region lives and breathes Outlaw, Texas, Red Dirt country. We can’t wait for fans to walk through the doors and experience what we have put together.”
