070 Shake Teams Up With NLE Choppa On ‘Lose My Cool’

070 Shake has released the NLE Choppa-assisted “Lose My Cool,” the first single from her forthcoming album, YOU CAN’T KILL ME BECAUSE I DON’T EXIST, which is set to arrive in the spring of 2022.

“Lose My Cool” is Shake’s first new solo music in two years. The music video was shot and directed by C.O.R.E., a group of 070 creatives including herself. “Lose My Cool” is featured in NBA 2K22 Season 3: Iced Out.

In the surreal video, Shake is filmed in both color and black and white, as she sings and dances among trees and talks on the phone in a breathtaking home. She also recruits Choppa to appear in the video, and the two hop on bicycles to cruise down an empty street.

“This song is a joyous form of expression for me. An introduction to the next chapter. Just a small part of what’s to come,” said Shake regarding the track.

Shake recently teased the album title YOU CAN’T KILL ME BECAUSE I DON’T EXIST during her Adult Swim Festival livestream set, where she previewed “Skin & Bones,” a new song from the forthcoming project. In recent months – while recording YOU CAN’T KILL ME BECAUSE I DON’T EXIST with Modus collaborators Dave Hamelin and Mike Dean – Shake has stepped out for features on Swedish House Mafia’s comeback single “Lifetime,” and GENER8ION’s “Neo Surf.”

070 Shake was also featured on the soundtrack for Blade Runner: Black Lotus, the new Adult Swim/ Crunchyroll/ Alcon Entertainment anime action series that premiered on November 13.

The groundbreaking Blade Runner: Black Lotus series follows Elle, a young woman who seeks to exact revenge on those who have wronged her, to understand her own identity, and to uncover the mysteries of her past. Prior to the soundtrack album, Elle created her own Spotify playlist, which is also available for fans to explore.
