The picture disc is housed in a die cut sleeve and includes fan favorites “Voodoo Doll” and “Disconnected” as bonus tracks. The red vinyl LP exclusively features an alternate front cover sleeve and bonus tracks “Lost Boy” and “Mrs All American,” both of which were only available on the Australian and American versions of the album respectively.

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) comprised of Luke Hemmings (vocals/guitar), Michael Clifford (vocals/guitar), Calum Hood (vocals/bass) and Ashton Irwin (vocals/drums) have released five number one albums and sold over 18m albums and 6m concert tickets globally.

The self-titled record was the culmination of a meteoric rise to fame. The group formed while still in high school in 2011, and began posting covers of pop and pop punk songs to YouTube. Their covers went viral, and attracted not only a fanbase but the attention of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson. His support of the group led to them opening for 1D’s massive Take Me Home world tour in 2013. They signed with Capitol Records and began working on their debut.

The album was chiefly produced by  John Feldmann, an American producer known for his success with alt rock and pop acts ranging from Good Charlotte to Panic! At The Disco and blink-182. The first single from the record, “She Looks So Perfect,” marked their major label debut single, and was co-written by Irwin and Clifford.

The album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. and sold 259,000 copies in the first week, beating a record previously held by Daughtry. They also became the first Australian act to achieve a number-one album with their debut.
