Tom Dumont, the longtime guitarist for No Doubt, has shared that he has been diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s disease. In an emotional video posted to Instagram, the 58-year-old musician explained that he sought medical advice several years ago after experiencing persistent symptoms. While Dumont acknowledged that the condition is a "struggle every day," he expressed optimism about his ability to continue performing. "The good news is I can still play music, I can still play guitar," he shared, noting that he has been inspired by others who have spoken openly about their health.

Dumont’s announcement comes just ahead of No Doubt’s highly anticipated residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, which is set to begin in May 2026. He confirmed his intention to join bandmates Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young for the shows, hoping that being open about his diagnosis will help raise awareness and erase the stigma surrounding the disease. Dumont plans to release more content in the future to further detail his experiences and the symptoms he faces.

It’s not a short amount of time. But it’s easy for a newcomer, for myself, to be caught in the crossfire there. Maybe I became a scapegoat for certain things."
