Lana Del Rey Releases Long-Teased New Song “Henry, come on”

Lana Del Rey has released a new song, “Henry, come on.”

The artist has been teasing the track for over a year—she first shared a snippet of it on Instagram back in January 2024. She wrote the track with country producer and songwriter Luke Laird, who has worked with Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves, Rascal Flatts and more. They produced the record with Drew Erickson.

Lana has said that the song is the lead single from her forthcoming tenth studio album, The Right Person Will Stay. That record is due out on May 21st via Interscope Records. It follows 2023’s Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard, which she also produced alongside Erickson, as well as Mike Hermosa, Jack Antonoff, Zach Dawes and Benji. It received nominations for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Album at the 66th annual Grammy Awards.

Next week, Del Rey is set to perform at Stagecoach California in Indio, California on Friday, April 25th. It’s one of two confirmed festival dates this year—she’ll headline Hinterland Music Festival in Iowa on August 3rd. She’ll also head out on her first UK and IE stadium tour later this year, stopping in Dublin, Liverpool, Glasgow, Cardiff and London, where she’ll play two dates at Wembley Stadium. The run is sold-out.

Del Rey has said that The Right Person Will Stay draws inspiration from Americana and country. In an interview with Vogue last year, she shared that the record would not be a “heavy departure” from her prior work, and added that it would be a “classic country, American, or Southern Gothic production.”
