Flyers Hall of Famer Bobby Clarke’s Former Estate Under Contract

A massive home fit for the most loyal Philadelphia Flyers fan awaits in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Earlier in April, the former home of Flyers’ legend Bobby Clarke, two-time Stanley Cup champion and Hockey Hall of Famer, went on the market for $1.2 million. Although Clarke hasn’t lived at the estate in several decades, the 1.45-acre parcel still retains his personal stamp on the property, including a backyard pool in the shape of the Flyers logo.

According to the Patch of Cherry Hill, the home is now under contract and has received multiple offers, said Daren M. Sautter of Long & Foster Real Estate.

During his professional hockey career from 1969 to 1984, Bobby Clarke made his home in South Jersey. According to the New Jersey Monthly, after the Flyers won back-to-back Stanley Cups from 1974 to 1975, Clarke and his wife Sandy chose to live in a more secluded setting in Cherry Hill. The couple lived at the property from 1975 to 1982.

The Clarkes moved to Moorestown during the 1980s and, later, to Haddonfield.

The 5,200-square-foot home has five gas fireplaces, a gourmet kitchen with two dishwashers, and a wet bar in the living room. Outside, in addition to the Flyers logo-shaped in-ground pool, a full-size tennis court and a cabin add to the exterior amenities.
