Mark Wills’ ‘Greatest Hits’ Coming To Vinyl For The First Time

Mark WillsGreatest Hits will soon be available on vinyl for the first time. First released on CD in 2002 and later available on streaming platforms, the compilation is set for release on June 6.

The country singer’s 11-track set draws from his first four studio albums: 1996’s Mark Wills, 1998’s platinum-selling Wish You Were Here, 2000’s Permanently, and 2001’s Loving Every Minute. It features hits including his 1996 debut single “Jacob’s Ladder,” chart toppers like 1999’s “Wish You Were Here,” his 2000 cover of Brian McKnight’s “Back at One,” 2001’s “I’m Not Gonna Do Anything Without You” (a duet with fellow country artist Jamie O’Neal), 2002’s “19 Somethin’” (his second No. 1 country hit that was specially recorded for the collection), and more.

Even though all tracks (except “When You Think Of Me”) were previously released as 7” singles, this marks the first time Wills’ hits have been collected for a vinyl compilation.

Wills, a Blue Ridge, Georgia native, is known for being one of the biggest country artists of the late 1990s and early 2000s. He came onto the country scene with his self-titled 1996 debut album. He’s since released five studio albums and 16 charting singles, including eight Top 10s and two No. 1 hits.

In 1999, the singer won the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Male Vocalist. In 2018, he became the 218th member of the Grand Ole Opry and was later inducted in 2019.

Order Mark Wills’ Greatest Hits on vinyl now.
