Kid Cudi Announces New Album ‘NOW!,’ Confirms Release Date For First Single

Kid Cudi has mysteriously alluded to a forthcoming project entitled NOW!, alongside a lead single called “Neverland.”

Cudder took to social media last week to share the news, offering a video clip that featured surreal shots of carnival rides alongside the caption: “Pre save NEVERLAND, my first single from my new album, NOW! At http://kidcudi.com.” The website features a countdown that will expire on Friday, May 9 at midnight.

The new single is produced and written by Kid Cudi, Justin Tranter, Dan Crean, Shawn Wasabi, Ramii, Matty Spats, Jean-Baptistem, and Cleo Tighe.

Additionally, on June 7, the Neverland short film (directed by Ti West and executive produced by Monkeypaw Productions) will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Not much is known about the new project, aside from the fact that Kid Cudi collaborated with celebrated songwriter Justin Tranter on the album.

Kid Cudi’s previous release arrived just last year. INSANO dropped on January 12, 2024, and a deluxe edition, entitled INSANO (Nitro Mega), arrived on February 23. The Cleveland-born MC pulled out all the stops for the collection, even revealing four cover-art variations for the project, featuring artwork by renowned artist and designer, KAWS.

Cudder’s last track was an accompaniment to his comic book entitled Moon Man. The song, titled “THE MOON MAN SURVIVES,” was released on October 23, 2024.
